1. The users
To make sure you don't forget anything while importing your data, we have compiled all the information to be filled in and the order in which to do it.
2. The vessels
Once your users are imported, you can integrate your boats. For this, nothing could be easier! You have a column called "ship" to fill with the following information:
🟢 Vessel Name
🟣 Vessel Type
🔵 Users
🔴 Equipment associate
3. The departments
A section is dedicated to the creation of your different departments. The only action to perform on this part is enter the name of the departments in "Name", this generates an ID that you can use on your document.
4. The equipment
Once your vessel is integrated to the file and your department was created, you can start to make a list on the column concerned. The ID will be automatically generated to the line concerned.
This ID is very important as it will allow you to link equipment to ships, meters, maintenance etc... as you can see in the screenshot below.
5. The subset
The subset part will allow you to complete your tree structure even more precisely. The subsets are the equivalent of tags attached to a category of equipment.
6. The plan maintenance
At this point, you have built the first bricks you will need to use the software. Then you can start building your plan maintenance. In the same way, you can do it on Airtable. There is a section "Date-based: Planned maintenances".
Here is a video that may help you to complete your planned maintenance:
